This Was Just the Beginning

Hi friends,

As the year winds down, we wanted to pause and say thank you.

Thank you for reading, listening, and being part of The Homebase. This year reinforced something we deeply believe: the most interesting progress in AI is coming from the people who are actually building.

In 2025, we laid the groundwork:

• We interviewed 60+ founders and operators building real AI products.

• We automated nearly all of our video production with AI — and will share that workflow as a playbook in 2026.

• We automated most of our podcast production using AI as well, which we’ll also open up.

• We launched an AI job board focused on roles that actually ship.

• We built a growing database of high-growth AI companies so builders can understand where real work is happening.

That was just the foundation.

In 2026, we want to go much deeper. Our focus is on building Homebase into the place where people who actually build with AI spend time. That means:

• Re-launching a vetted community for founders, hiring managers, and AI builders who ship. 

• Creating a warm-intro and opportunity network, moving beyond cold applications and noisy job boards.

• Supporting build-to-hire projects, where teams work together before making long-term hiring decisions.

• Publishing clear playbooks on how AI startups were actually built in 2025.

• Releasing a prompt and workflow library for founders, including the exact systems we use internally.

• Running small, high-signal sessions focused on shipping, hiring, and real progress.
